Executive Director and Board Member Biographies

Dr. Mark Richardson

    Dr. Mark Richardson is a Pastoral Counselor, an ordained Minister, a Life Coach, and a Financial Coach. Mark is a certified pastoral relational recovery specialist (PSRRS).


    Mark has worked with more than 1200 men in recovery from Sexual Integrity Issues.


    He authored the books, Return to Innocence; Cultivating Passion for Purity and 52 Days on the Wall: A Believer's Guide to Sexual Purity.


    Outside of my Pastoral Counselor role my wife and I own a Real Estate Investment Company.


    My faith is the most important part of who I am. A pastors role is not something that I "strive for" it is who I am.

    Dr. Janice Stevens

      Janice is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She specializes in working with spouses/partners of sex addicts. For several years Janice facilitated groups for partners of sex addicts and counseled with them on an individual basis. She obtained her training and certification (CCPS) for this specialty from the Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS); Janice is trained as a certified clinical betrayal trauma specialist (CBTS) by Dr. Kevin Skinner with the Addo Recovery Network. She has a deep understanding of the trauma experienced by partners of those with sexual infidelity issues. Janice came into the field of counseling following a long and fulfilling career in education where I have served as an elementary teacher, school counselor in middle school, and university professor in a School Counseling Program. When not seeing clients, Janice  currently enjoys traveling and spending time with children and grandchildren.

      Sandra Mackey

        Sandra Mackey is known in the Atlanta, Georgia area as an artist, poet, and public speaker, who has presented motivational workshops in eight Southern States. Currently, she is the United States Emissary for Stronger Wings, a charitable organization which, among other community efforts, enables young women from low-income families in Colima, Mexico to receive a college education. 

        She served Georgia Agape, Inc., in Atlanta as its first Secretary; and member of the Board of Directors for 13 years. She served Atlanta Bible Camp, Inc., Camp Inagehi, in Douglasville, Georgia, as a Counselor and Lifeguard for 15 years, and as a member of their Board of Directors for 8 years. She is the published author of seven inspirational books, Better Than Gold and Silver, The Spirit of Truth, When Righteousness and Peace Kiss, Heaven Coming Down,  Satan Roars, and The Spirit of Truth, Revised Edition. Her inspirational poetry has been published in seven separate anthologies for The International Library of Poetry, as well as her self-published Poems of Love and Faith.

        Sandra had a career in corporate America with Kimberly Clark.

        Sandra’s creative energy and computer skills promote her writing as a webmaster, including her own monthly blog at www.sandramackey.com/webstable-soup. She has been a proofreader, editor, and consultant for other authors of published books.

        Residing in Roswell, Georgia, Sandra is the mother of four grown children, three grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. 

        Richard Blankenship, Executive Director

        Richard Blankenship, LPC, NCC, CPCS, CBTS, CPSBT, CSRTT has developed and led non-profit corporations for 18 years.  He currently serves on the board of directors for the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) as a vice-president.  He is the clinical director for Capstone Counseling and Coaching and Capstone Center for Sexual Recovery & Transformation; a program for male addicts, female addicts, spouses/partners of sex addicts, couples in recovery, and services for children & adolescents. Richard is one of the founders of the International Association of Certified Sexual Addiction Specialists (IACSAS) where he served as president for 13 years, and a founding board member of the Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) where he served for over 4 years. He developed the first graduate course to be taught on sexual addiction along with a colleague and guest lectures in a variety of University level courses.  He is the author of the LIFE Guide for Young Men, and a Journey Through Secrets. He is the co-author of Spouses of Sex Addicts: Hope for the Journey (book & workbook) and the LIFE Guide for Couples.

        Richard holds two masters degrees; an M.Ed. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an M.A. From Harding University Graduate School. He also did graduate work at Georgia State University.  Richard is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with the state of Georgia, a nationally certified counselor (NCC) with the National Board of Certified Counselors, a certified clinical hypnotherapist (CCH), a certified problematic behavior specialist (CPSBT), a certified sexual and relational trauma therapist (CSRTT) and a certified clinical betrayal trauma specialist (CBTS) through the Addo recovery network. Richard is also a certified professional counselor supervisor (CPCS) through the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. 

        He is married with two children and has worked in the industry for over 25 years.
